A Custom United UT K67 Capsule.
The UT Tube67’s capsule is a custom-made, historically correct dual backplate/diaphragm capsule; skinned in a laboratory clean-room environment and 24k gold-sputtered on 6 micron Mylar. It has been optimized for the microphone’s operating voltage, and tuned to its ancestors’ specification; resulting in a smooth sound.
