SSL Solid State Logic UMD192
The most powerful MADI & Dante digital audio interface available
Solid State Logic is proud to introduce the UMD192, a powerful and portable USB audio interface designed to meet the demands of professional live sound, broadcast, and high-spec studio environments. With seamless integration across MADI, Dante, and USB, the UMD192 offers flexible routing, high channel counts, and uncompromising performance for recording, playback, and format bridging. Providing 192 channels at both 96 and 48 kHz, or 128 channels at 192 kHz in a compact and portable ½RU form factor.
The Perfect Bridge Between USB, MADI and Dante
Built for versatility, the UMD192 supports bidirectional audio between any two formats – MADI, Dante or USB – with the third format able to receive a split feed. This makes it ideal for bridging multiple MADI-connected devices into a Dante network, or for high-channel-count recording and playback via USB 3.0. On the network side, UMD192 delivers fully interoperable Dante AoIP with AES67 and ST 2110 (with DDM) support and ultra-low Dante latency down to 0.25 ms. UMD192 provides flexible clocking options from either MADI or Dante, covering sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz. With six MADI BNC pairs, the UMD192 can also be configured in redundant mode, enabling three dual-redundant MADI connections for mission-critical broadcast and live workflows.
