The Heil PR 48 is a dynamic microphone that is specifically designed to capture kick drums and low-frequency instruments. The PR 48 features a custom-tailored frequency response that enhances low and subsonic frequencies while preserving the mid-range attack and high-end nuances often lost in other microphones. These features also make the PR 48 ideal for reinforcing other low-end, high SPL applications such as bass cabinets. The PR 48 easily attaches to a standard-threaded mic boom with its built-in threading.
